🌉 Corsair Commander Pro Not Working

Hi I have an issue with iCue when resuming from sleep. The RGB colours on the fans and CPU block default to the rainbow and iCue is unable to see any of my corsair parts, I need to reboot to get them working again. Motherboard: Asus Prime X470 AIO: Corsair H150i Pro PSU: HX850i Corsair Lighting n So I ordered a Corsair Commander Pro and it arrived today. I have 6 ML120 Pro fans, 3 120mm 3 140mm hooked up to it for now with the intentions of changing out to LL series fans in the near future. Problem im having is that iCUE isnt recognizing the fans properly. It seems to (usually, they sometimes drop out) read Fan 1 & 2, albeit with very Posted April 5, 2021. Hello! So, recently I believe my fans ports to my commander pro are being destroyed for some reason. I have been using new corsair products for about 3 months now. Two weeks ago all three of my fans stopped working ( I have 3 fan splitter ), my response was to switch power ports on the commander pro. Test 1: Individual performance mode ( ability to make custom fan configurations in case) Commander pro - set to auto on all 6 fans. Performance mode: Quiet. 120 mm fans are averaging 1500 rpm. 140 mm fans are averaging 1400 rpm. Performance mode: Extreme (Balanced is identical) 120 mm fans are averaging 1700 rpm. I have both 24pin and 8pin strimer connected the controller, then with Icue adapter connected to the commander pro. But it doesn’t sync with icue. I can only control it with the Lian li controller. However if I connect the 8pin strimer directly to the commander pro with icue adapter then it does work with icue software. If it starts to happen again, USB connection status determines whether CUE can see/communicate with the device. The Commander Pro as a whole device will be missing from CUE. However, the RGB Lighting Hubs that provide additional 5v power for fans on Pro controllers do not show up as devices. If the RGB channel is configured "Fan type x fan To set up your COMMANDER CORE XT: Install your COMMANDER CORE XT into your PC system. Connect the RGB fan lighting cables into the ports labeled RGB HUB. Connect your PWM fan cables into the ports labeled FANS. (Optional) If you want, connect the following cables: Connect a 3-pin RGB device (e.g. lighting strips, fan lighting hubs, or Hydro X Is it possible you really have: 1) Commander Core (6 PWM/6 RGB ports) from the H150i Elite Capellix box. 2) LCD top you purchased. 3) Lighting Node Core that came with the QL. The Commander Core + LCD top not being detected is a relatively common issue. Try taking them off the splitter and connect each individually. The native sensors for the Commander Pro are the temp probes on that specific Commander Pro. C-Pro 2 cannot use C-Pro 1's temp sensors as a native source. So you should be getting either full speed max from C-Pro 2 on boot or you do have at least one temp probe from C-Pro 2 in place and if so, is that the control source for those fans? There is bug with the USB pass-through functionality of the commander pro with some of the motherboards. You can try force a firmware update on the commander pro and restart the icue service. It sometimes fixes the issue. Alternative solution is to get an internal USB hub from NZXT and connect all the devices to it. In this video I answer a question that has been asked time and time again and that is How do I setup my Corsair RGB fans and LED strips. Hopefully this setup Posted February 4, 2022. Go into the Commander Pro settings and specifically set the 3 SP-RGB headers to “3 pin” and the 3 ML-Elite OEM headers to 4 pin. It’s possible they are not responding to auto fan test on start and it’s generally preferable to set PWM fans to 4 pin so it can skip the 100% power on test. xmLGc.
