If I had to pick only one device to start with, I'd pick the HRM-Pro because, above all else, accurate and smooth HR data is the most important thing for most people. I would (and did) go 6 pro. Maps are useful for sure and there are a couple other features on the pro line. Battery on the 6 and 6 pro is bigger than the 6s, but smaller than the 6x.
